A wondrous thing

To believe…

In hopes

In wishes

And all your dreams

A beautiful promise

Of all you seek

The vulnerability

To simply be

For there is beauty

In who you are

Have you forgotten?

You were once-

a star…

Illuminating

true- upon

the night

Falling free

from the sky

And in bravery

finding-

You can fly…

Storm clouds brewing

And, yet, the sun still shines

For beauty is in the wonder

Of one’s own mind…

So many, many times,

but the words… froze-

trapped within my

mind

In the moments lost

time and again

I ponder the

wonder where

we'll begin

Alas... I'll gaze

into your eyes

With wistful hope

your soul sees

In dreamy bliss

A moonlit kiss

Amid silver drops

And rainbow lollipops

Love always remembers

Its memory pure

Love never surrenders

For love.. is sure

All the thoughts

All the words

All the poems

They are you

Kiss of youth

Across the sea

You've gone away 

Come find me

A tangled web

I have spun

No way out

Excuse the pun

Hands in hair

Breath on face

Love was there

But love- escaped

Never to know

Never to touch

So it goes

To love much

Under the tree

He gave me

My first kiss

My last wish
